Summerfest Food Vendor Application 2020

This application is for any food vendor who is interested in participating in the Orem Summerfest celebration, which will be held June 11-13, 2020. To be considered as a food vendor, applicants must COMPLETELY fill out this form.

Submission does not guarantee entry in Summerfest, regardless of past participation. The City of Orem reserves the right to select any vendor for the approved applications.

By filling out this application, you acknowledge that you understand and will abide by the requirements set by the Utah County Health Department (which regulates food vending in Utah County), as well as the Utah State Tax Commission (which collects sales tax).

Summerfest is pleased to announce that there will be room for 21 (twenty-one) 10x15 foot concession spaces. The fee for each space is $700. **Please note: Vendors will pay for electrical needs on-site this year and not as part of the agreement process. **

You can become a sponsor of the Orem Summerfest Food Court and receive these great benefits:

Cost: $2,000

Please note: just because you apply as a sponsor does not necessarily mean you will be accepted as a sponsor. Sponsors will also be required to follow food vendor rules and regulations.

Number of Spaces Required - If you take up more space than indicated on your application, no accommodation will be given and there will be no refund issued. You will be required to fit in the space specified without hindering your neighboring vendors.


 Simple Household Power (Free)

Electricity for 2 circuits, under 220 volts & 20 amps.

This type of electrical configuration is included in the base fee of $700. 



  Advanced Power ($75)

Electricity for 1 circuit, 220 volts, 30/50 amps.

This type of electrical configuration is an extra $75 that will be paid on-site when you come to set up. Cash, card, or check are accepted.

Space Electricity Requirement

Attach a photo of your booth set up. Photo NEEDS to match the actual set up you will have for Summerfest

Attach a COMPLETE list of menu items with pricing. Per the health code, what you list in your application to sell are the ONLY items you are allowed to sell at Summerfest. No additions after application is submitted will be permitted.

All vendors, including sponsors, are required to have a current food license. If you do not have a current food license at the time of application selection, you will be denied automatically. Summerfest has the right to check booths to make sure that the health code is being followed. Any vendors in violation will be shut down until fixed.

You will receive notification of application results, via email, by April 5, 2020. If you wish to withdraw your application, please notify us immediately. If you are selected as a participant, vendors will be REQUIRED TO PAY THE BASE FEE within 10 (ten) DAYS OF NOTIFICATION. Failure to do so will result in the loss of vending space to another applicant.

Payment is to be done online by credit card. Instructions for payment will be given with the selection notice. An agreement with the City of Orem will also need to be signed as well.

If you are selected, you will be required to show proof of insurance with a minimum of 1 million per occurrence and 2 million aggregate within two weeks of the event. If you fail to do so, you will not be allowed to participate in Summerfest.
